Of Psych Nsg Rev

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Fun at the Psych Nursing review. Haha. Never a dull lecture. Our lecturer is the operations manager of NGRTCI-Bacolod and I think he’s great and intelligent.

He was soooo like mah fwend Jeffy. As in! His gestures and voice and everything. LOL.

Mom and Dad was here in Bacolod…brought the money for my Iloilo package. Mom gave me some prayer booklets. Final coaching from Dad. Thanks folks. Mwahugs!

Ei, some grad pics from Keryll.

Ahem…so I’m the photographer?

Miss JapYEHN, Miss US of A, and Miss TanzaNEEYAH

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007

Damn! I woke up early for the review but we only had an ICT. And we could carry the test anywhere we would want to answer…

Hmmm. It’s Miss Universe 2007!

Off we went ot Felipe’s cool apartment to watch the prestigious pageant.

*Latina Beauties. Who would never mind them? Well, as usual, most were in the top 15.

*Miss Korea. She’s pretty. As in! And she’s not one of those beauties roaming around SM and Robinsons chatting Annyong haseyo.

*Miss Tanzania. Miraculously, she was in the top 15. I wonder what would happen if she got the crown. She has alopecia! Hmmm…will they tape the Mikimoto crown on her head?

*Miss Mexico. What a pretty butt.

*Miss USA. Ohlala! What happened? I saw that! I REALLY SAW THAT! Nyahaha. THAT WUZ OHZZZM!

*Miss Philippines. At least she’s Miss Photogenic. My friend Israel was insisting she wasn’t in the 15 because she got a neat straight jet black hair. Ows?

*Miss Japan. An epitome of towering confidence. I just love the gown. And congratulations.

Back to the review center. Miss USA was the talk of the town.

Thoughts About June

Monday, May 28th, 2007

Well, many many Junes ago, I was happy and mentally upright.

*I would be happy because summer vacation is over and I would be looking at familiar faces again.

*I would be covering my new Sterling notebooks and arrange my other new school supplies in my new bag.

*I would enjoy climbing up trees or shake some branches to catch some June beetles (labug-labug).

*Rainy days at last.

Now, it’s different. June of 2007 is the June I fear the most. If I used to wish May would fly fast, how I wish now that everything would be delayed.

June 1 - I will be attending the mass at RC for all of us NLE takers.

June 2 - My friends and I will be visiting Carmelite Monastery to offer some eggs.

June 7 - A trip to Iloilo which I might never enjoy.

June 10-11 - Ragnarok.

LimeWire and Fear of Impending Doom

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

*OMG! Forgive me but I just can’t help myself but to laugh with Kirkitich…he has recently inflicted with Tolkien fever. OMG! My alter-ego Frod Fritz died ages ago. But I had to resurrect FF for the sake of mah fwend. Why Kirk? Why now? Too late. But yeah…you can borrow my The Silmarillion.

*Hmmm…in barter for Silma, Kirk taught me LimeWire. Nyahaha. It’s the thing that I need and I got all that I desired.

*I was able to download Chinese meditation instrumentals (ala Tai Chi, hehe), which I’ve been looking for eons already. And LOTR OST and menimur.

*Spekking of menimur…I downloaded E-books! I got HP books 1-6, the complete Chronicles of Narnia, The Golden Compass, and my much awaited Lemony Snicket Book 13!

*Spekking of Narnia…I just loved The Magician’s Nephew. It’s the book preluding The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. It recounts the genesis of the white witch, the lamp-post, the wardrobe, and the whole of Narnia. AMAZING! As in! It’s a must-read.

*Fear of impending doom related to upcoming NLE secondary to unpreparedness as evidenced by sleeping 3am not because of studying but because of the damn Internet.

*Pray for mah soul.

Lovin’ the Pirate Lore

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

*Went to the review center this noon only to know there will be no review. Lecture was done on the morning which I failed to attend courtesy of my sleeping at early dawn. Perfect timing…Keryll and I went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End at SM.

*Not too many watched…as compared to Spidey.

*OMG! I just loved the cinematography. Thanks to Mr. Bruckheimer’s money.

*As the movie progressed, all my questions accumulated from the previous movies were being answered. It was like witnessing a revelation. Damn! If only this was based on a novel, I could have read it a long time ago. The twists of the tale were amazing.

*So Captain Barbossa was alive. That black woman Tia Lama brought him back from the dead…something which she couldn’t do for Jack Sparrow because according to her, the captain of the Black Pearl was no dead at all.

*And I was kinda right. That negra sorceress was a supernatural being. She turned out to be Calypso, a goddess, whom for all I know, seduced Odysseus in her island for many years in the Odyssey. And ohlala, she was the lover of Davy Jones? Now I know why the captain smells fishy.

*I just liked the Asian pirates. The costumes were great. The plot with Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat) was a cliffhanger but it brought beauty to the movie. He wasn’t that important as I expected.

*The Brethren Court amazed me, and the Shipwreck Cove, and the Pieces of Eight, and the Keeper of the Code. So there were the nine pirate lords who ruled the great seas of the earth. I found them mysterious. They gathered to fight their greatest enemies through a song sung. WHAT? And oh, their pieces of eight were nonsense things…not those coins collected by the evil Beckett. Haha. So the detached eyeball of one of the pirates was of great importance.

*I laughed hard with the Indian pirate lord. From the beginning, I was noticing that he was silent and that he brought himself a spokesman. HIS VOICE WAS SO FELINE!

*Jack Sparrow was, as usual, clumsy and a survivor. Ei, he was lunatic? I think he got a multiple personality disorder.

*Haha. Elizabeth Schwann became a pirate lord…and Pirate King. Girl power! Not bad at all.

*Legolas…or Will Turner rather…was pretty. So he was destined to captain the Flying Dutchman. A good thing for the ending.

*The fight within a maelstrom was marvelous. The death of Beckett was artistic.

*Discussion with Keryll after the movie. She was confused why Orlando Bloom had to make a choice between his father and Keira Knightley.

*Watched some trailers. OMG! National Treasure 2?

*Woot! Pirates rock! After the board exams, I will get myself a galleon and sail to the seven seas. Nyahaha.

Memories of The Witch of Warwick

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

With the Harry Potter fever coming on again, I just can’t help myself recalling The Witch of Warwick. It’s a play I wrote when I was in high school, with magic tricks out of chemistry facts. It was a whole class production and everyone was on my palms along with my Harry Potter madness…

Entangled and Pirates

Monday, May 21st, 2007

I brought my novel, ENTANGLED, at the review center. Two people read it…and they never listened to the lecture. Oh my…I got fans!

For the benefit of the doubt of the envious…

The cover of my novel…self designed.

Ei, happened to browse the net about Pirates of the Caribbean. Look what I got…

    Sunday, May 20th, 2007

    I resurrected from the unknown.

So what’s the latest in Schizotopia?

*I finished my novel! At last! It’s entitled, ENTANGLED: a nonsense novel about a certain gadget and some ill-fated people. It’s really a nonsense…but my few first readers seem to like it.

*Into Pirates of the Carribean fanaticism. Bought a DVD with the past 2 movies. Can’t wait to see the third.

*Seen Calla Lily perform at Robinsons.

*I bought Jessica Zafra’s The Twisted Menace (fourth in the Twisted series). Which means, I got all seven! But damnit…she has a new book…Twisted Travels. Got to grab it!

*Bought slippers and a lot of slippers…

*Oh…about the May 14 elections? I went home to Candoni. The political dynasty in my hometown somehow ended. I got a hundred bucks from a candidate. Nyahaha!

*I was addicted to IMEEM. Haha. Whattacool place for multimedia mutants like me…

*HMMMM…the June NLE? I had a series of absents in our review. I haven’t read a page in the CHN book. Two weeks to go? Well…I’m predicting that I will not see my name in the newspaper on July.

    *Recent pics…
