SEAGames and Thai Players

OMG! I’m such a lucky guy this day!
The past days I had been planning to watch any of the events of the SEAGames but it seemed that there were a lot of hindrances. SEAGames venued here in Bacolod might only be once in a lifetime! I wasn’t able to watch the last football game of the Phil Team at Panaad where they lost. Argh! And there were tickets for the games…why???
Anyway, I was scanning the newspapers in the library this noon and happened to spot the schedule of the games. I was planning to watch the Beach Volleyball Men at LaSalle as well as the Boxing event the proceed to WesNeg gym for the Indoor Volleyball. So I went, around 4 in the afternoon. Sad for me, the Beach Volleyball was over so I stayed in the Coliseum to wait for the Boxing. While waiting, I had some pics for myself…

I was no longer planning to go to WesNeg since it was late in the afternoon. I would just be watching Boxing then head home…at least I had some experience with the SEAGames. I was bored waiting there at the Coliseum so I went outside for a while before the event starts…
I saw the Malaysian athletes…

I got a Milo cap…and a cup of free cold Milo.

I saw some Indonesians also practicing around the campus. By 5 pm the event began and I was watching a great event in history (though boxing only). I do not like boxing that much but I was carried away by the crowd, the cheers, the sounds, the spirit…OMG! The Malaysians were great cheerers…and there was a Thai mascot, so funny! Haha. After a Filipino fought…which eventually won, I left the Coliseum heading home. Here are some pics…

The Filipino Boxer (in Blue) is from Bago City. Hooray!

The Malaysian Cheering Squad (actually football players…hehe)

Philippines won!

So I was at LaSalle…and on the way back to the boarding house, I got to pass by LaSalle Avenue. You know what I had seen at Filmore Sports Store? The Thai Football Players! OMG! I was shocked seeing them in the place…buying some shirts and shoes. The door was crowding with fans so I decided to join. Haha.

Paparrazi shots!
My Scholastican friends told me that Thai Footers were cute so I wanted to prove it. And they were! OMG! I couldn’t believe it! I was taking pictures through the crystal. I was like a paparazzi. I met some LaSallian friends who got guts talking with the players for their autographs and pics. No. 14, 15, and 16, were the scene stealers and here are the pics…

With No. 8…

With No. 15! We beg the German Team Manager for us to be in the players’ bus.

With No. 14! OMG!!!!

They look like Pinoys too. hehe…
Well, seems like this is no ordinary day.
