SEAGames and Thai Players

Wednesday, November 30th, 2005

OMG! I’m such a lucky guy this day!

The past days I had been planning to watch any of the events of the SEAGames but it seemed that there were a lot of hindrances. SEAGames venued here in Bacolod might only be once in a lifetime! I wasn’t able to watch the last football game of the Phil Team at Panaad where they lost. Argh! And there were tickets for the games…why???

Anyway, I was scanning the newspapers in the library this noon and happened to spot the schedule of the games. I was planning to watch the Beach Volleyball Men at LaSalle as well as the Boxing event the proceed to WesNeg gym for the Indoor Volleyball. So I went, around 4 in the afternoon. Sad for me, the Beach Volleyball was over so I stayed in the Coliseum to wait for the Boxing. While waiting, I had some pics for myself…

I was no longer planning to go to WesNeg since it was late in the afternoon. I would just be watching Boxing then head home…at least I had some experience with the SEAGames. I was bored waiting there at the Coliseum so I went outside for a while before the event starts…

I saw the Malaysian athletes…

I got a Milo cap…and a cup of free cold Milo.

I saw some Indonesians also practicing around the campus. By 5 pm the event began and I was watching a great event in history (though boxing only). I do not like boxing that much but I was carried away by the crowd, the cheers, the sounds, the spirit…OMG! The Malaysians were great cheerers…and there was a Thai mascot, so funny! Haha. After a Filipino fought…which eventually won, I left the Coliseum heading home. Here are some pics…

The Filipino Boxer (in Blue) is from Bago City. Hooray!

The Malaysian Cheering Squad (actually football players…hehe)

Philippines won!

So I was at LaSalle…and on the way back to the boarding house, I got to pass by LaSalle Avenue. You know what I had seen at Filmore Sports Store? The Thai Football Players! OMG! I was shocked seeing them in the place…buying some shirts and shoes. The door was crowding with fans so I decided to join. Haha.

Paparrazi shots!

My Scholastican friends told me that Thai Footers were cute so I wanted to prove it. And they were! OMG! I couldn’t believe it! I was taking pictures through the crystal. I was like a paparazzi. I met some LaSallian friends who got guts talking with the players for their autographs and pics. No. 14, 15, and 16, were the scene stealers and here are the pics…

With No. 8…

With No. 15! We beg the German Team Manager for us to be in the players’ bus.

With No. 14! OMG!!!!

They look like Pinoys too. hehe…

Well, seems like this is no ordinary day. :-)

Daniel Radcliffe in December Boys

Tuesday, November 29th, 2005

OMG! I can’t wait to see this film. It’s rocking my world…Daniel Radcliffe out of HP Films? And oh, he’s kissing a girl! OMG!

Well, he was kinda matured in GoF right? Seen those muscles in the tub? Damn Myrtle!

***s first kiss in December Boys
The Sydney Sunday Telegraph has a new article on the Harry Potter actor’s new role in December Boys - currently being filmed in Australia. In it, they ask him about his first on-screen kiss:

"I’m very nervous," Radcliffe said yesterday. "But thankfully, Teresa, who plays Lucy, is also very nervous, so that will make it slightly easier."

Haha! Here’s a cool pic…

The Goblet of Fire Premiere

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

This is my day! By noon, myself and the LOVErs went to Robinsons Place to watch the premiere of my much awaited movie this year, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!Sadly, I was the seventh in the ticket line at Cinema 3 (Cinema 1 will be showing late in the afternoon)…but it was fine at least, following us was a great length of people.

It was a reunion of us Noscians Harry Potter fanatics! I saw Nong Rolin (who skipped school) and Kharmeel with two from her batch (skipped also). Lucky for us we never had class for the whole day. By 12:30, the movie blasted at last.

The movie was great but it didn’t exceed my expectations. Just fine, sort of okey lang…laughs. Its good seeing the cast mature - Ron and Harry who were muscular (Harry in the bathtub…nude!), and Hermione, prettier and sexier. The Yule Ball scnenes were spectacular, I could really empathize. Hermione-Viktor scenes were OMG! Cho and Harry’s were funny. Cho and Cedric’s were blunt. The  three Triwizard tasks were shown well but as I had expected, not that complete. The last parts was amazing, dark and sad and gory…argh! I really cried when Cedric died, not because HE DIED but because of the effect of it to his father. "My son! He is my boy!" cried Amos Diggory - how touching. The battle of Harry and Voldemort was just exactly as I had imagined. The ending was sad - really sad for me coz I’ll be waiting for so long for the next movie. Argh!

There was a song for the movie; played at the acknowledgement part. I watched the movie twice, with Kirk in the second watching. This day I will never forget…gee, I will always be a Potter-maniac!

Oh, back at TRC office, I had some pictorial of myself…

Psychiatric Nursing and 1st Sem Grades

Monday, November 14th, 2005

We began our lecture for NCM104 this morning…first topic: PsychNursing! It was cool…and our teacher was Mrs. Portia Murillo. She was a good lecturer, not boring and her examples rock! PsychNursing seems interesting…lets you get to know more of yourself. We’re going to have a test tomorrow, got to study hard tonight. Mrs. Chan was our Psychopathophysiology. Argh! She was so ego-hitter!

Oh, I got my First Sem grade slip from the Registrar  through my friend, Becky. Here they are:

NCM102 = 86 (17 units)

Nursing Research = 87 (3 units)

Pathophysiology = 89 (3 units)

Psych22 = 90 (3 units)

SocSci1 = 96 (3 units)

AVERAGE = 87.86%

Argh! I hope the damn Registrar’s going to round it off. I need that 50% AP Scholarship!

A Week Quarrel with Sismetz

Saturday, November 12th, 2005

It began with the paying of the boarding house fee. I got mad at my sister…such anger that I never spoke to her for almost a week…until now!

I really hate her…not of what she did recently, but because of what she is as I felt it since we shared one room. She deserves it.

She’s not feeling well right now, having a flu. Mom told me to get along with her tonight. ????

Any suggestion?
